GHG were contracted by Buildcorp to undertake the reconstruction of Bicentennial and Scarborough Parks within the Cook Cove business and recreation development. The complete scope of works included the following:
- Supply and installation of a complete subsurface irrigation system to five sportsfields and one baseball field with three 45,000 tanks and two separate pumping stations.
- Supply, delivery and installation of approximately 14,000 tonnes of turf growing medium to a total area of approximately 66,000m2 using laser equipped graders and tractor mounted laser blades.
- The supply, delivery and laying of approximately 65,000m2 of kikuyu turf maxi-rolls.
- An establishment period of 8 weeks and a maintenance period of 13 weeks.
